Recruiting had become the gatekeeper to upward mobility in the tech industry.
That’s a lot of power. And very problematic.
It’s time to redesign the system.
Access to opportunity is no longer a nice idea.
It’s mandatory if we ever want to close the massive gap between those who have it, and those who never will.
If not, this private club with audacious membership fees will remain exclusive––available to a select few, who on paper, all look the same.
And none of us want to work at a company like that.
